NEOM Wellbeing are proud to be partnering with Martin House
Martin House provides specialist palliative care and support for children and young people with life-shortening conditions, and their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire. Every year, the hospice supports more than 550 children and young people, providing care at Martin House, in hospitals and in families’ own homes.
How Martin House helps families
Every child and family's needs are different. Martin House provides a wide range of support, from planned short breaks and specialist symptom management to emergency and end-of-life care. The hospice also offers bereavement support to families when they need it.
Following the completion of its £21.9 million transformation, Martin House now has new and improved facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, immersive sensory room, recording studio and enhanced clinical spaces. These facilities help make the hospice a place of care, comfort, fun and precious memories.
It costs around £13 million each year to provide these vital services, with the majority funded through voluntary donations and fundraising.
