For Better Sleep

I try to really switch off, even if it’s only for a few minutes before I go to sleep, to just put the day away in my head before I go to bed. I try as much as possible to write a ’to do’ list for the next day, as well as writing in my diary to unload my observations before I fall asleep.

For Less Stress

Whenever I feel stressed, I ask what’s achievable and what simply isn’t. Then I just let go of all the stuff on the latter list, telling myself it’ll get done when it gets done. Another sure-fire way out of stress: a boiling hot bath, laced with something lovely. The NEOM Real Luxury Bath Foam is a favourite for this occasion.

For More Energy

I do two things: if I’m tired, I nap. If I’m not tired but just sluggish from sitting indoors and what not, I’ll get up and try to move a bit. Something as simple as ten star jumps usually sorts me out if I can muster up the vigour.

For A Boosted Mood

My most important factor here is spending time in nature, and whenever I have a spare 30 minutes in my day, I try to walk around the park, or at least somewhere a little bit leafy. I also love the smell of anything citrus to lift me up, and am a big fan of the NEOM Happiness Essential Oil Blend, all sparkling lemon and bursting mimosa.

For Better Sleep

I always try to ensure I get enough morning sunlight (ideally within the first 30 mins of waking, or via a SAD lamp, which I use year round) to help promote a balanced circadian rhythm and better sleep come night. Regular exercise also helps, but I’m lucky that I naturally sleep quite well.

For Less Stress

A really hot bath – infused with NEOM’s Magnesium Bath Milk – is the best way to ease a worried or anxious mind. I take a book in, keep my phone out, and soak away the stress!

For More Energy

When I’m low on energy, I make sure I rest, but I also make sure I move – that could be a long walk or something more strenuous, like boxing. It’s the last thing you feel like doing, but it’s also the best way to do it.

For A Boosted Mood

Taking vitamin D (4000IU daily, courtesy of Artah’s Vitamin D3/K2) year round really helps keep my mood balanced – it’s also incredible for improving immunity and energy levels, and many of us are deficient, so I can’t recommend it enough.

For Better Sleep

I swear by turning my phone on to not disturb at 9pm, then using my acupressure mat while I read for 20 minutes, then taking one pipette of CBD oil. I’ve never struggled with sleep, and I put that down to these three things. I also love a good pillow spray – NEOM’s Perfect Night’s Pillow Mist is the best.

For Less Stress

I absolutely love yoga to help me unwind. If there’s one workout I can rely on to feel relaxed, it’s yoga. Even 20 minutes is enough to turn a down day around. What’s even better – I like to light a candle or pop an Essential Oil Blend into my NEOM Wellbeing Pod to really set (and scent!) the scene.

For More Energy

I do considerably less intense exercise than I used to. Instead, I do 4-5 30-45-minute workouts per week, and I’ll swap one of those for a 20-minute HIIT session only twice a month, because I know that intense workouts have the biggest benefits when done in small doses. People think you need to train hard for results, but I’m fitter and stronger now than I ever have been.

For A Boosted Mood

For me, sitting outside the front of my local coffee shop under the heaters with a coconut cortado is the ultimate activity to boost my mood! I always end up chatting to strangers and love watching the world go by.

For Better Sleep

I’ve been wearing a WHOOP tracker for the past 18 months, and it’s been fascinating to see how different habits impact my sleep. The biggest takeaway? Alcohol has a massive effect on my sleep. Even a single glass of wine leaves me tossing and turning, and my health metrics reflect it the next day. While I still enjoy a margarita as much as the next person, knowing the impact alcohol has on my sleep has made me pause and weigh up whether it’s worth it.

For Less Stress

When life feels overwhelming – whether it’s work, people, or just the general chaos of life – I like to focus on creating a cosy, calming environment that makes me feel safe and soothed. In winter, I’ll light a fire, surround myself with candles (my current favourite is NEOM’s Cosy Nights), and curl up under a weighted blanket with a book or some TV. Switching off from the world, even for a little while, helps me feel grounded and allows the day’s stress to melt away.

For More Energy

People always say exercise boosts energy, but I didn’t really understand it until I found a sport I truly loved. A couple of years ago, I discovered padel (a mix of tennis and squash), and it’s become my ultimate energy booster. It’s addictive, fun, and gives me an instant (and lasting) hit of dopamine. I aim to play 2–3 times a week, and even when I feel low-energy, I know stepping onto the court will leave me feeling lighter and more energised.

For A Boosted Mood

Food and friends are my ultimate mood boosters. If I’m feeling low, I’ll invite a friend over and cook for them – it’s my ultimate way to reset and relax. While I travel a lot with work, deep down, I’m a real homebody. There’s nothing I love more than hosting a dinner party. NEOM’s Wellbeing Pod is my go-to for setting the scene (paired with Feel Refreshed, a blend of Sicilian lemon and fresh basil) – it not only creates the perfect vibe but also clears away any lingering food smells. Win-win!
