Hello May! There’s something about this time of year - the days are longer, the light feels just that bit more golden, and everything around us seems to be blooming (including our to-do lists, let’s be honest). This month’s musings are a mix of joyful discoveries and grounding rituals - from the books and beauty finds, to the genius apps making our lives that little bit easier. Whether you’re navigating springtime chaos or just soaking up the slower moments, I hope you find something here to make you smile, spark a new idea, or simply feel a little more like you. Let’s dive in…
Recipe Book
Good Tuesday – Still completely in love with these recipe books. What I especially appreciate? I can keep little notes on the recipes I’ve tried and what went down well (because we all know not every experiment is a winner!).
Fiction Reads
The Women by Kristin Hannah – This one’s gripping. I adored The Nightingale (if you haven’t read it, add it to your list), and The Women is just as powerful. Highly recommend both.
Podcast Pick
Teen Commandments with Sara Cox – Honestly, a lifesaver if you have teens and you’re this close to pulling your hair out. Funny, honest, and packed with practical nuggets.
App I’m Loving
Domestika – Total game changer. I’ve been on the hunt for a good online painting course and found one for just £5! I’m hooked. If you’ve been wanting to flex your creative muscles, this is the place.
On Repeat in My Kitchen
Emily English’s healthy carbonara – this has been on repeat in my house. It’s half the fat, packed with goodness, and honestly tastes even better than the traditional version. Win-win.
Restaurant Discovery...
Oma at Borough Market – I have to shout this one from the rooftops. Hands down the best Greek food I’ve ever eaten. The hummus alone? Life-changing. Plus, they’ve just snagged a Michelin star and it’s still so reasonably priced. Treat yourself if you’re in London.
Best Piece of Advice
“You are not alive to please these mother***.” Bit punchy, but wow did that hit home this month. A good reminder to stay true to your own path.
Beauty Shelf Staple
Paula’s Choice Moisturiser with SPF Vitamin C - Light, effective, and perfect for this time of year. My skin is loving it.
New Routine Additions
Finally invested in an Oura Ring, and let’s just say, I am obsessed with checking my sleep score every morning. It’s been such an eye-opener for understanding my rest and recovery.
Current NEOM Favourite...
This month, I’m loving our next-generation Wellbeing Pod Mini+. It’s a seriously premium upgrade, designed with advanced tech to bring wellbeing wherever you need it - whether that’s on the go, in the kids’ bedroom, or even at your desk. A little powerhouse of calm, anytime, anywhere.
Until next month,
