Our Founder Nicola Elliott's Monthly Musings For October

October is here and I am just loving the cosy, autumn vibes. From comfy pyjamas, good reads and delicious drinks to inspiring exhibitions and skincare finds, here’s a little look at what I’m currently into…

The Pyjamas I’m Wearing Every Night...

Chelsea Peers Pyjamas

When it comes to winding down, I’m all about comfort and these Chelsea Peers pyjamas are my current go-to. Soft, stylish, and oh-so-cosy, they make every night feel like a little luxury. I love how they come in fun prints too as they really do bring a bit of joy to my nightly routine.

The Drink I’m Sipping On...

Perfect Ted Matcha Drinks

For a little pick-me-up, I’ve been sipping on Perfect Ted Matcha drinks. They’re refreshing and packed with that lovely green tea goodness. Perfect for those afternoons when I need a little boost but without the jitters of my usual latte.

The New Part Of My Nightly Routine...

A Journal from the Journal Club

I recently introduced journaling into my nightly routine again after a bit of a break and I had forgotten just how great it makes me feel. This one from the Journal Club has perfect prompts to help me to reflect and unwind after a busy day. It’s a wonderful way to capture thoughts and feelings and I find it so grounding. I recently caught up with their founder Jess on my Instagram which you can watch back here if you missed it.

The Book I’m Reading...

Shy Creatures by Clare Chambers

This month, I’ve been engrossed in this book. It’s a beautifully written exploration of human emotions and connections. If you’re looking for a book that’s both thought-provoking and tender... this is it. It's a lovely little escape on a grey weekend afternoon. If you need some other good recommendations, have a read of this - The Best Books For Your Autumn Reading List.

The Instagram Account I’m Loving...

5 O’Clock Apron

Delicious meal inspo is always welcome and 5 O’Clock Apron's feed is overflowing with it. Their recipes are easy to follow and perfect for busy evenings when I'm often short on time. It’s filled with vibrant food pics if you’re looking to spice up your dinners.

The Teen Skincare Brand For My Daughter...

Dr Paw Paw Skincare

As my daughter dives into the world of skincare, we’ve been trying out Dr Paw Paw products together. They’re gentle, effective, and suitable for all skin types. I love that they focus on natural ingredients and are perfect for teens who are just starting out on their skincare journey. Oh and they're Lip Balm is just perfect for dry lips.

The NEOM Scent That’s Perfect For This Season...

Hibernate

With the change in weather... this super creamy and extra comforting scent is my current fave. Warm and inviting, it's ideal for creating a calm atmosphere whenever you need it. We launched the Candle last year and it was such a hit we just had to bring to you an Essential Oil Blend and Reed Diffuser this year.

The LA Exhibition I Visited...

Mr Brainwash

During my recent trip to LA (very lucky I know), I popped into Mr Brainwash’s exhibition and it was SO inspiring. One quote that resonated with me the most was, “Don’t fear mistakes - there are none.” What a beautiful reminder to embrace creativity without the fear of imperfection. The art was vibrant, full of life and really lifted my mood.
